Recent Player Analysis

Nov. 28 - Shaquille Harrison (CHI)

The Chicago Bulls snagged Shaq after the Suns sent him packing, and they have seen a consistently solid player in the short time they've had him active. There's just one problem: he can't shoot. Despite phenomenal ability on the defensive end, and good court vision, Shaq's potential is capped to a defensive stopper off the bench. Plus, his playing time might suffer with the return of Kris Dunn. While he's good as a short term filler thanks to his excellent motor, it's tough to see the necessary minutes with the Bulls (or elsewhere) in today's style of NBA.Shaquille Harrison profile page

Nov. 28 - Myles Turner (IND)

After a slow start to the season, Myles Turner has picked it up as of late, supplementing his blocks with efficient scoring and strong efforts on the glass. At the age of 22, Turner has shown that he still has the potential to be a legitimate force in the league, but if the beginning of this season is any indication, perhaps tempering expectations for his future would be the right approach. He and Sabonis could do great things in this league if they continue to gel next to each other in the Pacers' frontcourt. Myles Turner profile page

Nov. 16 - Monte Morris (DEN)

Morris has been performing solidly as a bench guard for the Nuggets, but his minutes are only as high as they are due to injuries to Will Barton and Isaiah Thomas. When either or both of those guys return, Morris will be relegated to a much smaller role, but his performance this year does bode well for his future prospects in Denver.Monte Morris profile page

Nov. 16 - Derrick White (SAS)

With Dejounte Murray out for the season in San Antonio, White will have every opportunity to operate as the Spurs' starting point guard. This gives him some value in deep leagues, but it's likely inconsistency will be a negative to his fantasy owners over the course of the season, and the presence of Bryn Forbes and Patty Mills will limit his minutes.Derrick White profile page

Nov. 15 - Nikola Vucevic (ORL)

Vucevic has been absolutely dominant this season in what his the final year of his Orlando Magic contract. It’s unknown whether the Magic have him in their long term plans, which could make him a potential trade candidate at the deadline this year. There’s no reason he can’t keep up his awesome play, but some regression should be expected, especially if he is traded to a new situation or if the Magic start to give Mo Bamba more minutes at the end of the year.
