Recent Player Analysis

12/06 - Alec Burks

After watching his role shrink over the course of the last two seasons, Burks has been getting more of an opportunity to shine in Utah, especially lately with Rodney Hood on the sidelines. The Jazz are desperate for a new offensive identity post-Gordon Hayward and haven't been afraid to give players like Burks, Hood and rookie Donovan Mitchell an opportunity. Keep an eye on Burks, he's still only 26 years old, but be prepared to move on and invest elsewhere if his team does. (@AustinKent)Alec Burks profile page

12/06 - Dwight Powell

Like so many other players on the Mavs, it's hard to gauge Powell's true value considering that Dallas seems torn between rebuilding and honoring Dirk Nowitzki's final season with a half-competitive roster. So long as they're leaning toward the latter, Powell is a solid, double-double threat worth consideration in deep leagues. (@AustinKent)Dwight Powell profile page

12/06 - Zach Randolph

Randolph, now 36 years old, continues to plod along racking up efficient box score after efficient box score. The only difference now, as a member of the Kings, is that the big man doesn't have a playoff race to keep him engaged into April. Trot Randolph out there so long as he's playing 20+ minutes but don't be surprised if Sacramento ends up downsizing his role to in order to get their younger players more minutes. 12/06 - Jeremy Lamb

Lamb has shown intriguing upside over the course of his career so the fact that he's thriving with increased opportunity isn't entirely surprising. Fantasy owners would be wise to notice Lamb's ability to fill the stat sheet and keep a close eye on Charlotte's perimeter depth. So long as Lamb can keep playing 25+ minutes a night, he has value in most league formats. (@AustinKent)Jeremy Lamb profile page

12/06 - Andrew Harrison

The Grizzlies seem to have faith in Harrison, opting to keep him over a more highly touted Wade Baldwin IV last summer. He'll compete with Mario Chalmers for backup point guard duties when Mike Conley returns to full health but may get the occasional chance to shine if Memphis is serious about developing new talent. Still, he's unlikely to provide much short-term value outside of very deep leagues. (@AustinKent)Andrew Harrison profile page
