How to Create a Team

1. Find a League to Join

A league is a group of teams managed by a commissioner. The commissioner sets up the rules and decides who plays the game. Often, the commissioner owns a team in the league. Teams only compete against other teams in their league.

The best way is to visit our League Directory. You can filter your search to find a league that suits your game.

If you've been invited to a league, follow the link provided to you by the commissioner or use the search functionality in the directory

  • Multiple team owners are supported

2. Create Your Team

Your team is your identity in a league. You'll assemble a roster of players from the pool of real NBA players; no one player can play on more than one roster at a time.

Once you've found a league to join, click the Join link on the league's page. If the page is password protected, you'll need to get the password from the commissioner. If you can't get the password, there are plenty of leagues that are open and advertised in the League Directory.

Add as much or as little customization to your team as you want when you join. You can update your team's name, look, and feel throughout the season.
