[HOUSTON] — The Houston Rockets played host to the Sacramento Kings last night but didn't exactly treat their visitors with any semblence of dignity or respect. Not only did the Rockets manhandle their beleagured opponents, they embarassed them to the tune of 132-98. The win bumps Houston's record up to 19-7 on the season, while the loss drags Sacramento's down to 9-16. More than just a victory, the performance could serve as a boost for the Rockets. Having scored early and often against their opponents this time out, the club will look to capitalize on their momentum heading into their next contest.

On this night it was James Harden leading the show from a statistical perspective. His 15 points, 11 rebounds, 14 assists, 0 blocks and 1 steals in 29 minutes topped all players in terms of general production. Ask anybody, however - Harden included - and the most important part is that the Rockets walked away with the W. Each win adds up over the course of the season with the end goal being far more satisfying than a Tweetable stat line.

Though not quite able to steal the show, Anthony Tolliver did a fine job leading his ultimately unsuccessful Kings. Tolliver's 12 points, 10 rebounds and 0 assists were one bright spot for the team that spun out in the matchup.

Beyond any individual contributions, one of the major reasons why it was the Rockets walking away victorious was Houston's ability to limit Sacramento's offensive output. By holding the Kings to less than they usually produce the Rockets made their life considerably easier.

Up next for the reeling Rockets will be a date with the while the visiting Kings will look to bounce back in a matchup with the Utah Jazz.
